I do not want to give away the plot of this movie as I feel it is way better nopt knowing what to expect, as I did when I watched it at a friend's house. The movie while set in the future with many industrial settings, has many many victorian settings and costumes. The colors and imagery are vivid and rich.

Ogre from Skinny Puppy is a main character and even though I loathe the idea of someone being a famous just because they are rich.Paris Hilton does a great job in this movie. I have always been a fan of horror movies and this movie is great. It may take you a few scenes to get used to the format of this movie, but it is well worth it. The approach is uncompromising and demands a willingness to give a little with your perspective in order to understand and internalize. The only real issues I have had with the movie is that sometimes it repeats itself (where one line of dialogue may have covered it) and that the sub titles are TERRIBLE. I really can't get too in-depth about most of the plot without giving it away. The plot is definately that of an opera: Love triangles, revenge, lies, murder, pampered heirs and a sheltered girl, all set to music. It's a goth rock opera set in the not-too-distant future. This definately fits in with all of those. I had originally seen this movie because of a recommendation on netflix, Let's just say I watch a lot of musicals and horror, with a bit of intrest in cult classics. Then again, I'm an odd person and I accept that this film is not for everyone.
